Only use tap water in your LumiMist, the sterilization effect may be lowered if the water is from a purifier. Using water that contains foreign substances, such as salt water, may cause the LumiMist to malfunction. Activating the LumiMist repeatedly without using it can cause a malfunction due to the pressure created.

When refilling your LumiMist, fill it to about 80% of capacity to allow proper activation. To activate the device, all you do is touch the enabled sensor pad on the bottom of the device once every hour. One touch produces sterilized water within 30 seconds and it last for over one hour. Shake the LumiMist gently 2-3 times to make the sterilized water even more effective.

When your LumiMist needs to be recharged, a red light will start blinking. If the battery has no charge at all, the product will not create bubbles. It takes about 2 hours to recharge your LumiMist, when the red light turns blue the product is completely charged. You can activate the product up to 50 times after it is completely recharged. LumiMist is easy to use and comes with a micro USB for charging cable.

If a scale build-up forms on the inside of the container, fill the LumiMist with 50% vinegar, 50% 50% water solution for 1-2 hours and then shake it and pour it out, rinse with tap water. If build-up remains, use a cotton swab soaked with the solution to gently remove. Immersing in water, dropping or impacting the LumiMist may cause product malfunction.
